Mossi sea moss gel

FAQ

Questions?
We have got answers.

Everything worth knowing about Mossi, from what it actually tastes like to when it lands on your doorstep.

Taste and texture

What does Mossi taste like?

Big flavour. Zero seaweed-y surprises.

Every Mossi jar is made to taste genuinely delicious. Bright, fruity and punchy, with a smooth, spoonable texture and a sweet-meets-sour finish. Real fruit meets, fresh Australian lime juice and the best quality Sea Moss — a match made in heaven.

Does Mossi taste like the ocean?

Nope. We had a meeting about that.

We use real fruit and seriously good flavour combinations to make sea moss taste like something you actually want to eat. Put it this way, unlike other brands you won't need a chaser for Mossi.

Why does Mossi taste so good?

We don't skimp on the good stuff.

We use real fruit, bold flavours and a whole lot of taste testing to make sea moss ridiculously enjoyable.

Storage and shelf life

How do I store my Mossi?

Mossi is best enjoyed chilled so we recommend you keep your jar in the fridge. When unopened at the very least, store below 25°C and out of direct sunlight to protect the natural pigments and carrageenan in your gel. Once opened, it’s fridge time.

What is the Mossi shelf life?

Mossi is produced fresh, never stored. So you will receive a 3 month shelf life for any unopened jar. However, once opened, Mossi must be consumed within 4 weeks. Your specific use by date will be printed directly onto your Mossi jar. Please keep in mind a “best before” is different to an “expiry date”.

Shipping and handling

When will I get my Mossi?

Mossi won't keep you waiting. Every jar is produced to order right here on the Gold Coast, QLD.

We ship Monday through to Thursday and multiple shipping options are available. Shipping times are calculated at checkout.

How to enjoy

Who can enjoy Mossi?

Mossi is made as a food for general consumption, but because sea moss naturally contains iodine, individual iodine levels can vary.

If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, giving Mossi to a young child, or have a thyroid/iodine-related condition, we recommend checking with your healthcare professional before consuming it.

How do I eat Mossi?

We thought this was pretty straightforward. But hey, if you need help…

Spoon Mossi straight from the jar with a clean spoon and return the lid tightly. You can blend Mossi into a smoothie, add it to yogurt or throw it in a cocktail. There's no one way and no wrong way to Mossi.

Mossi community

How is Mossi different?

Mossi isn’t your typical wellness brand. We’re flavour-first, fun-first and absolutely not here for the wellness waffle. We took real sea moss, gave it big fruity flavour, a smooth texture and a serious personality upgrade. Mossi brings a completely different energy to sea moss.

No weird ocean vibes. No boring spoonfuls. No pretending you love the taste because it’s good for you. Basically, your wellness routine called, and it seriously wants better for you.

Why did you make Mossi?

We loved what sea moss had to offer. We just couldn't get past the bland flavours, weird textures and very serious wellness energy. We were tired of watching the sea moss community compromise to get the benefits they need. So we decided to fix it, because sea moss deserved better — and so do you.

Okay, so what's with the Potassium Sorbate?

We get it — “potassium sorbate” sounds a little more lab-coat than sea moss.

Mossi is a fresh, ready-to-eat gel. That means we need to protect it from things we'd rather not find growing in your jar.
That's where potassium sorbate comes in.
We want everyone to have access to good quality Sea Moss.
We want it to be fresh. We want it to be practical. And, most importantly, we want it to be safe — not a petri dish quietly evolving at the back of your fridge.
We're not throwing it in by the bucketful. We use the lowest level needed to do its job effectively. We use a small amount to help keep Mossi fresh, stable and protected for longer. Made to preserve freshness without compromising what matters.
So yes, there's a preservative in your Mossi.

Call it a “double-dip safety measure”.
